There’s something powerful about flipping the calendar to a brand‑new month. It’s not about erasing what came before — it’s about stepping into fresh space with fresh energy. May is done and gone, and now it’s time to look forward. June deserves my dedication. It deserves my determination. It deserves to see me push hard, grind out those miles, and hopefully smile through most of them. And if not? The miles will still get ran.

Starting each month with a clean slate gives us the chance to be amazing all over again. We don’t have to make crazy goals that will be hard to achieve, we just need to plan for a little dedication to our mind, body and soul.
So here’s what I’m aiming for in June — simple, focused, and fully aligned with where I’m headed.
June Goals
🏃♀️ Run 139 miles
Ten more than last month. Nothing wild — just steady, intentional progress.
🍽 Stay true to my eating plan (and skip the donuts)
The donuts will survive without me.
🏅 Keep pushing forward in the AWM 3.11 x 311 Challenge
One day, one run, one checkmark at a time.
💧 Drink the water
It’s better than beer. If I keep saying it, maybe I’ll believe it.
🏋️♀️ Strength train at least 3x/week
Future me — and my knees — will be grateful.
🧘♀️ Yoga at least 3x/week
For flexibility, recovery, and sanity.
🧠 Protect my mental health
Especially from the idiots who try to wreck it on a daily basis.
It’s a short list. Nothing earth‑shattering. Just the things that keep me grounded, strong, and moving forward. I’ve got a few Garmin and Strava challenges floating around too, but those are bonus rounds — fun if I remember, irrelevant if I don’t.
June is a clean slate. A fresh start. A new chance to show up for myself. Now let’s go fill up our June calendar just as we did May!
Enjoy your accomplishments – Every damn mile.
And, if you get time, let me know what goals you’re lining up for June — I love cheering people on.
Clearly I object to Goal No. 2.
